Crochet is a very special activity that relaxes the Body, Mind and Spirit.

The rhythm and the Hand Eye Coordination Movement while doing Crochet has a positive effect in the Mind of the "Crocheter"/weaver , who "detaches" from outside worries and fears and concentrates entirely in the soothing activity at hand.

"Clicical Psychologist Ann Futterman-Collier who runs the Well Being Lab at Northern Arizona University, is studying what Arizona Public radio station KNAU call "Textile Therapy"- the emotional benefits of knitting as well as crocheting, weaving and quilting."  

Some of the results found after small Lab studies on people with different levels of stress, reported that "textile handcraft making was associated with the greatest mood repair, increase in positive, decrease in negative mood" - "Using Textile Arts and Handcrafts in Therapy with women: Weaving Lives back Together".

Inma offers Individual Sessions to teach Self-Relaxation Techniques through the Healing Art of Crochet.  
Classes are available to Children (7 years old and older) and adults.
